X is for Xtra-Terrestrials

Today,  in our A to Z Challenge, our word is Xtra-Terrestrials.

Kind of a cheat, with the X and all, but a fun topic nonetheless! Is this how you picture an alien? These above are what is known as the “greys”. What astounds me, as with the gnomes I spoke of earlier, is that many people around the world agree on this image – even though most people have not claimed to have seen one personally. Why is that?

Have  you ever seen an alien or an alien spaceship? I saw something in the early 90s. I was living in England at the time and we were driving, about six of us, in a car through some back country roads. We saw something in the night sky and none of us could think of anything to explain it. It traveled fast, much faster than an aircraft or a helicopter. It also traveled in a zig zag fashion. We ALL saw the same thing. It was too high up in the sky to be fireworks or something like that, and the path of the lights were horizontal and not vertical.

Although I’ve never seen anything with my own mind to prove that aliens actually do exist here on Earth, I find it hard to believe that with all the billions of stars in the galaxy that ours could be the only one with a tiny planet that holds life. It just seems crazy to think that.

What about you? What do you think about aliens and extra-terrestrials?
